Booking

As a novelist and a singer/songwriter, Mike Blakely offers a variety of entertainment opportunities, making speaking appearances and musical performances. In addition to his shows at traditional music venues, he speaks and performs at book festivals, library events, private parties, ranch and cowboy gatherings, music festivals, weddings, writers workshops, book clubs, chili cook-offs, and other events. He can perform solo, duo, trio, or with his four- or five-piece band. He also performs in duos and trios with other songwriters, including john Arthur martinez, John Greenberg, Thomas Michael Riley, and Tommy Alverson. Because traditional booking agencies typically can’t handle such a wide variety of offerings from a single artists, Mike does most of his own booking in the United States.
